The topics covered in the BuildUP Workshop are among the popular ones in the first half of the year in Secondary 1, which consists of 40% to 60% of the End of Year’s paper. Furthermore, these are the common fundamentals that will be covered in the Secondary 2 syllabus. During the workshop, coaches will elevate and bridge the model-drawing concept to solving using algebraic methods. Our workshop is designed to help students build a strong foundation in basic algebra to prepare them for more abstract mathematics through algebraic and graphical forms.

What is Covered?

Day 1: Basic Algebra and Algebraic Manipulation and Linear Equations with Graphical Solutions
Day 2:  HCF and LCM, Percentage and Ratio with real-world context questions and to dive into intermediate and advanced questions with algebraic aid

• All payments must be made prior to the commencement of the workshop.
• Registration is strictly on a first-come-first-served basis as seats are limited and is only confirmed upon receipt of payment.
• Fees paid are non-refundable unless the workshop is cancelled by Oodles Learning.
• Workshop sign-ups are non-transferable to another participant.
• Request to change the date or venue of the workshop after registration is subject to space availability.
• Walk-ins will only be admitted on the basis of space availability and with immediate full payment.
• As there is a minimum class size requirement, the workshop may be postponed or cancelled if there are insufficient participants.  In such an event, this will be communicated 3 working days before the workshop is due to commence.
• Your child is strongly advised to attend all lessons to ensure minimal disruption in learning as there are no replacement/make-up sessions or refunds given for any unattended lessons.
• By signing up for our services, you consent to videos and pictures of the class lesson (delivered regardless of medium) being recorded for training and commercial purposes.
